About me

Beautiful food is my inspiration as well as the art and science of contemporary cuisine.  Every culture has a culinary language, even when they don't have a written language. Everyone eats, it is what unites us as beings.  Food is my language and I believe plant based cuisine can be delicious, executed at the highest levels of culinary artistry and healthy for the body, soul and planet.  I am writing the next chapter in our culinary history. 

I was a military officer for more than two decades and have moved forward in writing the next chapter of my story.  I guess you could say I'm going from pilot to pastry chef.  Food has always been my passion and I am excited to be exploring and merging plant based cuisine, cocktails and culture.  So far in my journey I have attended Le Cordon Blue in Paris for bread baking, am a certified health coach with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and completed classical culinary training & nutrition education with Plantlab (previously known as Matthew Kenney Culinary Academy).  This is where I belong.  Changing the world, one plate at a time.
